I’d like to be able to use my digital brain to track my overall health and the inputs like nutrition and exercise that go into that. Here are some thoughts on what I envision:
The goal of the digital brain health module is to help digital brain owners track and improve their general health and wellbeing.
Digital Brain Health Module Components
The digital brain health module should include the following components:
Brain Owner Preferences:
- What does the digital brain owner want from their health module?
- How often would they like to interact with their Health Module?
- Do they want automated reminders and updates on their health or do they prefer to ask their digital brain for updates and information?
- What format would they like those reminders and updates in? Via their digital brain app? Via Email? Both? Other?
- If digital brain health module users don’t answer these questions set defaults for the system to use. In fact perhaps suggest the defaults and ask them if they would like to change anything?
Brain Owner Knowledge:
- What does the digital brain owner feel is going well with their general health and wellbeing?
- What does the digital brain owner feel could be going better with their general health and wellbeing?
- What is their medical history? - Use Questions from standard medical history form. If they’ve already answered questions on this form from the first two bullets, don’t ask them again.
- Physical examination Info: Information from any Dr’s thorough head-to-toe assessments, including examination of your skin, eyes, ears, nose, throat, neck, lymph nodes, heart, lungs, abdomen, extremities, and reflexes.
- Same type of info for Dental, VIsion, and Mental Health
- What else would they like their health module to know?
- A daily or weekly journal asking questions around mental and physical wellbeing.
Brain Owner Data:
- All data imported from any existing health apps the owner uses.
- Vital signs: Temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate. Set a regular interval to request if not provided by health apps.
- Height and weight: Checking your height and weight to calculate your BMI (Body Mass Index). Set a regular interval to collect.
- Laboratory tests: The requested information should change Depending on your age, gender, and risk factors, your doctor may order blood tests (complete blood count, cholesterol panel, blood sugar), urine tests, or other diagnostic tests.
- Food journal
Community Knowledge and Data
The default setting of your digital brain is to keep the data from every module private.
Digital Brain owners can also opt in to sharing a portion of, or all of their health data.
Digital Brain owners can also request that data be shared from other digital brain owners and partners and offer payment when desired knowledge and or data requires it.
Reasons they may chose to share or request sharing of Brain Owner knowledge and Data are as follows:
Health Visits: Make Dr’s and other health and wellbeing visits more efficient and effective by providing specific data from your health module with your health provider. All your data and history is available to you instead of having to start from scratch each time you visit a new health provider.
Digital Brain Owner Comparison: Digital brain owners who are battling the same conditions may choose to share data with each other to build more intelligence and develop and find successful treatments. This could happen one to one, one to group, or via digital brain owner partners.
Monetization Opportunities: “Data is the new gold”. And once you own your data you benefit from that gold not some other company that used to hold your data. Individuals who want access to a portion of your data or expertise may be willing to pay you for it….just like they do with your physical brain. Companies who want access to your data and are willing to pay for it.
Digital Brain Health Module Ecosystem Needs
- Easy way to get data from various health apps into your digital brain ideally automatically.
- If there is not an easy way to do this with closed source health apps, and open source app and hardware that will do this.
Other Notes:
- The initial interaction with the health module should explain the benefits to the user clearly and concisely.
- We may want to start off the module with one sub module that can quickly be useful for the user. For example if they keep a food journal starting with that, if they have a fitness tracker starting with that, and if they have something else start with where they already have data and the digital brain can provide immediate value.
- sub modules here: Dental, Mental, Vision etc
- Info requested below should change based on Age/Gender.
- If people already have this information saved the first thing would be to ask them to upload whatever they already have. Then the questions below should change based on information they have already submitted.
- This should carry over to other modules. For example if you put in your age, gender and location in your health module you shouldn’t have to enter that again when you setup your personal finance module. *****We want to build a data network affect around the user.
- Digital brain owner service providers must verifiably meet a code of conduct and privacy standards. This verification is done via the blockchain. Whenever you share your data you can see exactly what’s happening. You don’t have to trust a partner to “not be evil” you trust code that “can’t be evil”.
- Digital brain should periodically update your knowledge based on the inputs it is receiving. For example if you were struggling with depression but your journal shows improvement it should update this information.
- If an app doesn’t have an API we can use to import user data have an email auto drafted for users of that app to send requesting access.
